The “Russian Association of developers, manufacturers and consumers of micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS)” (RAMEMS) was incorporated in June, 2010 in Kursk following the results of the conference on “Modern tendencies and technologies in MEMS production” held in March 17-18th, 2013 in Moscow.
More than 30 Russian companies attending the conference made a reasonable decision to establish RAMEMS. As early as April, 2013 RAMEMS represented Russia on the Summit MMS-2013 in Shanghai, China.
In its follow-up RAMEMS won the right to hold the Summit MMS-2015 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
Today we can state that within the framework of the Federal program for import phase-out Russian MEMS will be in demand for medicine, navigation, railway, marine and air transport, agricultural machinery, instrument production and process control, motor industry and digital field purposes.
